![]() PLATEMATIC ASP („All Shape Packages“) has overcome this situation, by combining the flexibility of air freezers with the efficiency of contact freezers. Such a step is made possible by a new patented system using a series of adjustable loading and unloading bars. Each loading bar individually carries one row of packages to be frozen across the aluminium freezing plate. The new PLATEMATIC ASP has been developed to offer the highest flexibility to an industrial freezing line, allowing the most efficient and economical operation of same. How it operates The packages travel on a standard conveyor towards the loading area in front of the freezer where they line up to form a row which then will be pushed on to the aluminium freezing plate by a loading bar. The same procedure will take place with the following row of packages which have meanwhile lined up in front of the freezer. Each one loading bar will individually move a row of packages to the end of the plate until same is fully loaded. After the products are being frozen unloading bars will again individually take them out of the freezer to a discharge conveyor. This system can practically freeze any kind of package, i.e. in open trays, round or conical containers, wrapped in polyethylene only etc. All is done in a continuous process. Of course, this freezer can also handle conventional cartons in the standard PLATEMATIC mode. |
